山地帐篷代表着最原始的建筑形式之一：一种轻便的临时庇护所，即使在极端条件下也能创造空间。它不仅仅是一件技术产物，更是一种与自然景观直接相连的微型建筑。
The mountain tent represents one of the most primal forms of architecture: a light, temporary shelter capable of creating space even in extreme conditions. It is not merely a technical object, but a micro-architecture that enters into a direct relationship with the natural landscape.
“覆层空间（Clothed Spaces）”邀请参与者重新思考帐篷作为一种建筑和美学元素的意义：它是一种临时的存在，一旦搭建起来，便成为自然及其周围空间不可分割的一部分。帐篷“装点”了景观，却不改变其原貌，从而在人工与自然之间建立起平衡的对话。
Clothed Spaces invites participants to rethink the tent as an architectural and aesthetic element: a temporary presence that, once pitched, becomes an integral part of nature and the space surrounding it. The tent “clothesˮ the landscape without altering it, establishing a balanced dialogue between the artificial and the natural.

“覆层空间”竞赛的目标是设计一款创新的山地帐篷，将其构想为一种轻盈的临时微型建筑。本次竞赛以概念性和实验性为特征：鼓励大胆的解决方案——即使并非立即可行——只要它们有清晰的设计愿景支撑。帐篷必须超越其作为庇护所的基本功能，成为微型建筑的真正组成部分，能够通过设计定义空间：一种与通用自然环境对话的美学存在，以及一种极致轻盈、体量极小的可逆结构。竞赛的重点在于研究帐篷作为一种富有表现力的轻型建筑形式。参赛者受邀探索形式与功能之间的关系，以及材料和几何形状如何体现创新理念。与“覆层空间”的主题相契合，材料研究至关重要。织物和覆层被视为“建筑表皮”，联系内外空间。竞赛鼓励尝试使用新型材料、创新纺织品和非传统的建造方案，以重新定义帐篷的性能、可变形性和美学特性。帐篷作为微型建筑，必须设计成可供两人居住的空间，最多可扩展至四人。方案应强调最大程度的可逆性、易于组装、拆卸和运输，以及对周围环境结构影响的最小化。
The aim of CLOTHED SPACES is to design an innovative mountain tent, conceived as a lightweight, temporary micro-architecture. The competi - tion is conceptual and experimental in nature: bold solutions are encour - aged—even if not immediately feasible—provided they are supported by a clear design vision. The tent must go beyond its basic function as a shelter and become a true element of micro-architecture, capable of defining space through design: an aesthetic presence in dialogue with a generic natural context, and a reversible structure of extreme lightness and minimal bulk. The focus of the competition is the study of the tent as an expressive form of lightweight architecture. Participants are invited to explore the relationship between form and function, and how materials and geome - tries can embody an innovative concept. In line with the CLOTHED SPACES theme, material research plays a central role. Fabric and surface are understood as an “architectural skinˮ mediating between interior and exterior. Experimentation is encouraged with new materials, innovative textiles, and unconventional construction solutions capable of redefining the tentʼs performance, transformability, and aesthetic identity. The tent-as-micro-architecture must be designed as a habitable space for 2 people, expandable up to a maximum of 4. The proposal should emphasize maximum reversibility, ease of assembly, disassembly, and transport, as well as minimal structural impact on the surrounding con - text.
竞赛选址 / Competition Site
本次竞赛的参考地点为朱利安阿尔卑斯山脉（意大利和斯洛文尼亚交界处），这是一处标志性的独特自然景观，非常适合在视觉冲击力强、地质结构复杂的阿尔卑斯山环境中探索轻型微型建筑。山脉的参考坐标为：北纬46°20′，东经13°45′。由于帐篷被设计成可移动的临时性元素，参赛者可以自由选择任何其他自然环境作为项目场地，但前提是该环境必须具有开阔的自然风貌和真实的景观背景。基本要求是，所选场地能够探索设计的帐篷与周围自然景观之间的关系，并强调轻盈、可逆和设计原则。
As a reference for the competition, the Julian Alps massif (Italy and Slovenia) is suggested—an iconic and unique natural landscape, ideal for exploring lightweight micro-architecture within an alpine context of strong visual impact and geo - logical complexity. Indicative coordinates of the massif: 46°20′ N, 13°45′ E (latitude–longitude). As the tent is conceived as a portable and tempo - rary element, participants are free to select any other natural location for their project, provided that the environment is characterized by open nature and an authentic landscape context. The fundamental requirement is that the chosen site allows for an exploration of the relationship between the designed tent and the surrounding natural landscape, emphasizing principles of lightness, reversibility, and design.
